Therapy Session is the second studio album from the Christian hip hop artist NF. Capitol Christian Music Group released the album on April, 2016.
Never let it be said that NF minces words. In his last album, rapper Nathan Feuerstein took listeners on a tour through the mansion of his mind, highlighting the struggles. With his latest work, NF takes us away long enough to stand face-to-face with the darkness. Therapy Session addresses the grief, regret, and anger stockpiled in Mansion, hitting home with NF's intense lyrics and undisputed honesty.
Since his debut release “Mansion” in 2015, NF has taken the Christian Hip Hop scene almost by surprise and made a mark on Christian music as a whole. His quiet spirit in personality is a heavy contrast from his bold approach behind the mic. As we had mentioned in our album preview for Mansion
(where we called NF the “Next Big Thing”), Nate Feuerstein (NF), packs his testimony into his raw, in-your-face brand of hip hop.
Personally, I couldn’t have been more excited to give this album a listen. When I put it on to listen and jot some notes, I looked at my page at the end of the record with nothing written. Why? Not because there was nothing to say about the album, but rather that NF drew me in to the journey with him. I was no longer focused on writing an album preview, but enjoying good art.
